Com Eugene Levy e Dan Levy como apresentadores, dupla que pouco tempo atrás levou um caminhão de Emmys para casa por sua série de comédia "Schitt’s Creek", o Emmy 2024 teve até que um início animado, mas os momentos marcantes e os discursos emocionantes foram bem raros. Foram poucos desvios de expectativas - "The Morning Show" talvez tenha sido uma delas, ganhando apenas com Billy Crudup.
No entanto, as produções que já eram as favoritas, realmente se confirmaram como as grandes vencedoras da noite. Uma ou outra surpresa, vale citar, tenha sido a baixa performance de produções como "Sr. e Sra. Smith", "Only Murders in the Building" e mesmo "The Crown" que só ganhou com Elizabeth Debicki, mas pelo equilíbrio desse ano, nada tão surpreendente.
